I know this might sound a little strange to you but mega altaria is my all time favorite mega right next to mega blaziken and I was wondering if someone could help with a solid team around her
Altaria is probably best played similarly to Zapdos, since both have good natural bulk and access to Tailwind + Roost, so there's your first 2 moves. Hyper Voice is great for taking advantage of Pixilate, and Draco Meteor is your best Dragon STAB option. You could use Dragon Pulse for more consistency, but your damage output won't be as good.
Mega Altaria's weaknesses are Ice, Fairy, Steel and Poison. Heatran is 4x resistant to the first 3 and immune to Poison, so I'd recommend using it.
You're also going to need a Tapu alongside Altaria, otherwise you won't be able to get rid of Fini's Misty Terrain, which halves Draco Meteor's power. Bulu seems like a great fit here! It provides healing to your team every turn, halves Earthquake damage (Heatran will be thankful for this), and a STAB Wood Hammer in Grassy Terrain is bound to scare off Fini.
Whereas Grassy Terrain will help Heatran against Earthquake users, there will be times when you don't have Grassy Terrain active. This leaves Heatran open to being OHKOd by the likes of Landorus-T, so a Flying-type would be very helpful. I recommend using Grassy Seed Celesteela due to its outstanding bulk, access to Leech Seed + Wide Guard, and great STAB attacks of Heavy Slam and Acrobatics (or Flash Cannon and Air Slash, if you're worried about Intimidators).
Hopefully this helps you get a good start on your team, and I wish you many victories with it :)
Ah I see you like mega burbs. Well one thing I've noticed with mega Altaria builds is that their either hyper offensive or hyper defensive. Since defense in doubles isn't too reliable tho I'd say make a team that can best take advantage of pixelate. The main threat to Altaria are Tapus, more specifically No no and scarfed Lele I'd imagine sooo maybe pair it up with Aegislash? Wide guard can block dazzling gleam and stab iron head is good against lele. if you're afraid of shadow ball maybe Scizor could also work. It doesn't have as many utility options though.
